Founded by Lorna Jane Clarkson, an Aerobics instructor, who was frustrated with the unflattering workout fashion of her time, jane fitness wear was born out of the desire to create women’s activewear that was flattering, functional and that looked great. The brand has now grown into a global community of women embracing her personal philosophy of ‘Active Living’, with 134 stores globally and an online store. The Australian designed and owned company was the first to coin the term ‘Activewear’ and their products are made by women, for women.

The brand has a huge range of women’s pants, shorts and tops that will keep you feeling comfortable during your workout. Their leggings are made with moisture wicking fabrics that pull away sweat from your skin and will help you to perform at your best. Their tights and shorts are also made with compression and sculpting fabric that will give you a smooth and flattering fit during your workout. They have wide waistbands that won’t ride up while you move and they are available in different colours to match your style.

Their t-shirts are lightweight and breathable to keep you cool during your workouts. They have fun retro graphics and bright pops of colour and are available in a wide range of sizes to suit everyone. If you’re looking for more support, their bra tanks are perfect for pairing with a t-shirt or are perfect to wear under your favourite jacket.

Despite the fantastic workout clothes, I can only give jane 3 stars because of their marketing and return policies. They don’t offer refunds on full-priced items with tags attached (they only give store credit). Plus, they have constantly changing promotion policies and prices on their products. This makes it hard to plan and budget for their clothing, especially since the quality of the product is excellent. Despite this, I still love their workout clothes and would recommend them to anyone who wants to look great while working out.
